Comment on Is there any API available for iOS to scan WiFi networks
Hello Eskimo, Greetings!!! We are going to developed IOT based speaker device product which can connect with our iOS app with two medium one is Bluetooth and another one is with wifi IOT. We wanted to get list of near by available wifi device list on our app so that user can choose any wifi SSID and can pair with our speaker device. Feature: want to get the list of wifi programatically on app We have requested for the NEHotspotHelper entitlement using this form: https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/hotspot-helper/ We got the below response from Apple: Hello, Thank you for your interest in the NEHotspotHelper framework, however it is not appropriate for the use you have described. NEHotspotHelper was designed to facilitate large scale managed network connections and is not appropriate for device discovery and accessory management. For information about enabling your app to configure a hardware accessory, please see the following article: Configuring a Wi-Fi Accessory to Join the User’s Network For further technical assistance please visit the Apple Developer Forums. Thank You, Apple Developer Relations Can you please help us with how we can achieve this feature? It would be helpful for us.
